LAr. Khairul Amin Bin Mirsa Hussain
Assistant Director (Landscape) @Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL)
LAr. Khairul Amin Bin Mirsa Hussain graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a degree in Landscape Architecture and Master of Science (Urban Planning and Design) from Universiti Teknologi Mara. He is currently the Assistant Director (Landscape) at Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). He was involved in various notable landscape development projects such as Rimba Kiara Park, Laman Tun Perak, Laman Sultan Ismail, Bulatan Merdeka, Laman Sogo Pocket Park, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Jalan Leboh Ampang, River of Life and Heritage Trail 6. He was also part of the Landscape Architect team from DBKL that produced the Kuala Lumpur Urban Design Guideline. He is a certified Children Playground Safety Inspector and is recently elected as the Chairman of ILAM Allstars Youth Chapter of Institute of Landscape Architect Malaysia (ILAM).
LAr. Dr. Mohd Sallehuddin Mat Noor
Senior Lecturer, Department of Landscape Architecture, Faculty of Design and Architecture @Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM)
LAr. Mohd Sallehuddin holds a degree in Landscape Architecture and a Master’s in Urban Development and Management from University Teknologi MARA. Prior to this, he was a landscape architect for various projects ranging from embassy, hospital, factory, university, park, and residential areas. He joined the Public Works Department (JKR) research project on Cost Planning Model (PCE PreMo) and continued his PhD in Built Environment with interest in Green Procurement in the Construction Industry. Along his research, he was involved in consultancy projects under the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) for both QLASSIC, SHASSIC and MyCREST. He was also involved in data mining for JKR construction project best practice. He is currently a working member of Certified Construction Project Manager and Certified Construction Manager with CIDB and a senior lecturer at the Landscape Department in UPM.
Dr Jegathish Kanadasan
Business and Product Development Manager @YTL Cement Berhad
Dr Jegathish Kanadasan completed his Bachelor in Civil Engineering at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in the year 2011 before enrolling directly into a PhD programme at University Malaya. He received his PhD in Concrete Technology from the Faculty of Civil Engineering in 2016. His area of expertise includes self-compacting concrete, green concrete, concrete admixture and concrete durability. Currently, Jegathish Kanadasan is the business and product development manager at YTL Cement. He is an investigator at the Buildcon Concrete Sdn Bhd, whilst working closely with YTL Cement, YTL Slag Cement and Batu Tiga Quarry which are all subsidiary companies of YTL Cement. He is actively researching into cement, aggregates and admixtures to develop new types of concrete to suit industrial applications.
